Beautiful house/hotel for the perfect getaway! Quiet and comfortable with common seating areas, books and blankets! No TVs which makes for perfect time alone. Breakfast not provided but a few places are within walking distance.
A very quiet and private escape location. An elegant former mansion converted to a wonderful inn with beautifully appointed rooms and common areas. We loved our stay!
Last minute trip. Not many options. It turned out much better than my expectations. The room is clean and nicely decorated, the bed is very comfy. Separate bathroom comes with steam shower also very roomy and well decorated. The hotel located in the very quiet and safe area. Overall I’ve had great experience.
Pretty property. Main house looked nice but I stayed in South Suite which is a separate building next to Main house. It was extremely spacious and very clean except there were a few mosquitoes that had gotten inside before I arrived. Unfortunately I got bitten on my cheek as I slept. Bathroom was very nice with tin, a rain shower head and 2 sinks but the hair dryer didn’t work. I called and texted for help/to ask for another hair dryer but nobody replied to me for 6 hours. The fireplace was pretty in the living room. There are several doors that day “Storage” “Laundry” or “Staff” on them…u fortunately those doors don’t lock. I opened them to see what was in them because I couldn’t lock them…there were huge, unlit storage areas-one was larger than my entire suite. I have to admit I was very uncomfortable not being able to lock those doors and not knowing who had access to entering those storage areas from the other side.
In the morning, as I stepped out of the shower, I heard voices on the other side of the laundry door that I was unable to lock. Again I was uncomfortable.
So…the property is pretty and the suite was very clean and huge but it needs doors that lock, a new hair dryer and no mosquitos.
This property is very clean and the decor was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable as well. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay again!
The room had two twin beds- comfortable- amazing coffee, but no water upstairs to make coffee and our bath was down the hall. Very small room, but well decorated and beautiful art and style. I thought the listing said B&B- there was no breakfast at all. No human contact just a key in the counter.
Beautiful property just off the main street of Trumansburg. We stayed in a split-level "suite" which was perfect (minor inconvenience that the bathroom was downstairs and the bedroom upstairs). The property itself is a beautiful historic building, and is set up in a way that guests can enjoy the ground floor whilst the guest rooms are upstairs. A short walk to some lovely food and drink options on the main street (be aware nearly everything is closed on Monday's). Staff were polite and welcoming when we saw them though it was self check-in so we didn't see them much! Overall highly recommend and would love to come back!
