Location was wonderful, loved being on the beach and fairly close to town. Hotel was very clean and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings and the workout room. Unfortunately, we could not use the hot tub the whole weekend because it wasn't warm enough.

Breakfast was a box, which you could choose from five different options. Balcony looked out to parking lot. Was a get away, girls trip. Room was on the third floor. Elevator broke Friday and still wasn’t fixed Sunday when we left. The maintenance guy we talked to Friday, said it would be fixed Friday. Was an issue with one of the gals, as she has issues with her knee.

Lack of working elevator (with a third floor room) is a significant factor in lower ratings. Breakfast is a cold, boxed option that isn’t worth bothering with. The property is clean and bright but overall kind of lacking in personality. Nothing terrible to warn others away from, but nothing memorable to cause us to recommend it highly.

The patio had a great view of the East Grand Traverse Bay. The room was clean but the carpet was old and aomewhat dirty. The hotel is comveniently located to downtown area and tour-bus puck up for wineries.
