We highly recommend Hotel Brandan, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The accommodations and staff were excellent. We really enjoyed the bar/lounge area with Wine Hour as a way to wind down from our busy days.

See enclosed pictures of our room after it was “cleaned”. We got the explanation afterwards that they never touch anything, but folding a pyjama, putting shoes in order, and throwing out garbage are clearly part of standard cleaning procedure in my mind (unless explicitly told that guests need to clean the room for the cleaners)

Beds were extremely comfortable and property is generally quiet - I slept soundly each night. Very clean. Kind staff. Nice sauna. Espresso pods in room. Lack of tissues in bathroom was odd though.

Way too high temperature to sleep
The temperature in the room was extremely hot. So hot that you’re unable to sleep in it. Reception couldn’t do anything about it as it is caused by central heating. The only solution is to open the window, but that means you get noise from the street instead. So you have to live with either very temperature or noise as you try to get some sleep.
