Everything about this hotel was perfect: location, cleanliness, decor, quiet, bed comfort, room size, staff. We didn’t use the restaurant in the lobby (menu seemed overpriced) but had a nice crowd, There are several dining options within the block that we enjoyed. The Pigeon, across the street, was excellent. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Our first stay in Toronto, so we opted for this hotel due to its central location for walk ability and public transportation options. The front desk staff was helpful & trustworthy when storing our bags after checkout. We did not use the hotel parking however there is a public parking garage across the street which was convenient and much cheaper than the valet option. The room was clean and spacious, however it is not very sound proof from the hallway as you can hear anyone walking past quite easily. Luckily we did not have any loud guests late at night on our floor. Plenty of dining options within a 10 minute walk or a short ride. The only frustration was the restaurant attached to the hotel closing the front door to hotel guests one evening of our stay for an event without explain where we were to enter around the corner instead. It would be wonderful in the future to see them turn the rooftop terrace into usable lounge space for guests.

Clean hotel. No idea how the lights works
It was really annoying that the light switch by the bed that controlled the reading light ALSO controlled the lights in the bathroom. We had to fumble and my girl fell in the bathroom because she couldn't turn on the bathroom light. I am legally blind and could barely find the bathroom because the lights were also controlled by the switch by the bed. How was a guest supposed to know that. We had to use our phones with flashlights to use the bathroom. That was ridiculous.
