The room was slightly on the warmer side, I was also hoping for some house slippers, but the concierge service was very welcoming and helpful. They made me feel special on my birthday and had helpful tips. The suite was spacious and on a great floor. The room was clean and the amenities in the building were great!

I wanted to like this hotel, but the age of the building really shows itself. First off, the elevators are small and slow. I was at the hotel for a conference, so spent a lot of time trying to move between floors and I spent an unbearable amount of time waiting. Secondly, while the room was nice and spacious, the bathroom was clearly dated. If that was it, it would’ve been fine. But it took over 15 minutes for hot water to start flowing in the shower. I thought something was broken at first, but realized this was just how things were. One morning I had to head to the conference without a shower after waiting too long. Brutal. Finally, the TV is old. It has an ancient menu system that makes the HDMI ports locked down so you can’t plug in your own devices. For a business hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto that charges accordingly, this is unacceptable. Lots of options in this price range nearby, I will never come back.
