My family's Came from Washington DC Airport to Toronto Airport, airport shut down because of storm. As soon as we've been notified by the airport that our flight cancel and we got stuck at the airport . I contact the hotel Explain our situation to them and ask that if hotel can cancel our reservation, the receptionist told me she have no problem of canceling but because we booked from Expedia so she needs somebody from Expedia to contact them to cancel. But when hotel.com contact the hotel, they did not cancel and they charged us anyway. Sad

I have stayed at Homewood Suites many times and have enjoyed all my stays. My only recommendation is to have a work desk available in the room/suite. Even when on vacation, I have to be ready to work remotely when called. After a recent renovation, there are no desks in the room anymore, and that makes working very inconvenient. I have to repurpose the coffee table and sit on the couch to work. There's definitely a space to add an optional desk.

Room and hotel were good. Housekeeping however was not so good. They told us on check in that house keeping came every 2 days which was fine with us. During our 7 night stay they came only twice and even those times didn't do things that we would have expected like fill the shampoo and leave fresh dish clothes after removing the dirty ones. My kids enjoyed the pool although it could be kept cleaner.

Clean bathrooms and towels, floors looked very clean, comfy beds. Not sure if the sofa bed was entirely clean but overall amazing stay for four people
