This is a private farmhouse in Tono City Iwate Prefecture
It is a 170 twostory building built 65 years ago It can accommodate up to 10 guests When you think of Tono you think of kappa and zashiki warashi The owner will tell you old tales of Tono as a storyteller
We have four rooms available Kappa Room I bed type a 6 tatami Japanesestyle room renovated into a Westernstyle room Zashiki Warashi Room futon a 75 tatami Japanesestyl / Lian Tono is a 65yearold small inn run by a married couple that opened in 2020 in Tono City Iwate Prefecture the hometown of folklore Every day we offer our guests BBQ meals made with plenty of our own vegetables while watching the bonfire and course meals made with local ingredients available upon advance reservationWe also cater to vegans and vegetarians Its great to relax and forget about time on the veranda in the hammock outside or in the footbath For those who like activities
