I’ve stayed here on many different visits. Rembrandt Cabin Shinjuku offers convenient location, amenities, and a safe spot to rest. It’s popular with both locals and solo travelers. Another bonus is the common space is large and offers drinks (coffee/teas) with amazing views of Tokyo! I’d stay again!

Location is ideal with tube station less than 5mins walk from the property. 7/11 is next to the building if you need anything. Staff was very polite and helpful & I would recommend to anyone to stay here. I’m 6ft and had plenty of room & could kneel down in the pods so space isn’t an issue for people worried about being claustrophobic!! Overall experience was very good & all communal areas was well kept and clean.

A cheap stay in a neat little neighborhood full of Korean BBQ places. Couple minutes from a train station makes for easy access to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, central Tokyo, and more.

Well located in Shin-Okubo, one minute walk to the subway station. Loved how the lockers were separated from the capsules so it was always pretty quiet in there.

1. No air conditioning - rooms are 25 Celsius or 78 farenheit. 2. No ventilation - rooms are stuffy and woke up with extremely bad sore throat. 3. Had to check out everyday.

Toilet seats are broken. Tiles in shower stalls noted to be broken. Faucet has clogged water spray pattern. Black molds noted on the corners of the shower room with significant odor. Other guests using toilet in unclean manner. Lack of contiguous non-shoe area. The area is nice, within middle of Korea town in Tokyo and slightly north of the main Shinjuku area. Staff is friendly. There's definitely a lot of room for improvement for this property. But price wise, worth it.
