It’s 9 minutes walk to the Gaiemmae station. The facility is quite new and I got a room overlooking the stadium. Unfortunately there was no game that night. You can’t ask too much, can you?
The staff were professional and courteous. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, for 2200 yen I enjoyed a balanced, delicious meal. They even got a Jura espresso machine. Great value breakfast!
The only complaint I have was there was not much restaurants like Shinjuku and Shibuya, but you do get quiet and safe neighborhood.
My family and I were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is perfectly situated on the Olympic grounds and next to the national stadium and baseball stadium where Tokyo swallows play. My room actually had a direct view of the baseball field so it was pretty cool when I got to see several games of some sort of Youth Tournament.
The food was really good at the hotel also and having it built in Family Mart was clutch. The neighborhood is really nice and I do recommend it. It felt safe to walk late at night, as is with most places in Japan. We had no trouble walking to different locations but sometimes we would take a taxi due to the Heat. There is a really good ramen place about a 5 or 6 minute walk to the left of the hotel. We ended up eating there about three times over the course of a week.
The hotel is also very clean and the staff was nice and pleasant. The rooms are a bit small but that's how it is in Japan . A double room was fine for a couple and a child .
I really like this hotel, I would definitely stay here again. 4.5 Stars. Not a perfect score, as the one thing that I dislike were the pillows. I was not a fan of them. It did not occur to me that maybe they had different types of pillows, but maybe they didn't. Next time I'm bringing my own. Great Hotel nonetheless.
Staff was very friendly. Hotel amenities made the stay more enjoyable including toiletries, pajamas, and on-site currency exchange machine. Loved the view of the baseball stadium, especially while enjoying the breakfast buffet!
We loved our experience at this hotel, the staff was very friendly, the hotel rooms were clean, and we found the location convenient and peaceful. Would definitely recommend
We booked a Queen bed room which was a bit crowded for two people. The mattress and bedsheets were super comfortable and clean. We were affected by the baseball game traffic, so we could not use the subway to the airport at time of game’s ending.
Rooms are spotlessly clean ,staff very friendly and helpful.
Front rooms and lobby look over onto baseball field.
Metro and Jr line 10 mins walk away and Harajuka not far also.
Stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was about a 7 minute walk from Gaiemmae station. It’s a really easy and straightforward walk, the train station you’ll be at is also really accessible and you’ll be able to get to your other parts of the city in no time.
Right across the street is Jingu stadium and during the baseball season you get to see baseball fans of all ages and nationalities flock to the stadium to watch the game which is pretty fun. The hotel staff also partake in the festivities by wearing baseball jerseys of the home team.
There are 2 high schools nearby and in general the location is in a pretty nice neighbourhood. Staff of the hotel are also really nice and friendly. The hotel also has a public bath which was a nice surprise since I wasn’t expecting it.
While it’s not in the city and you will need to do a short train ride to Shibuya, Shinjuku and wherever you’d like to go, this hotel definitely a great location if you’re looking for accommodation that has a quaint neighbourhood for you to explore :)
Great hotel with nice amenities such as the included access to the public bath. Staff was friendly and when I asked for a taxi to take me to HND airport they scheduled it and told me a flat rate was better (which it was). The only downside was the walk to the nearest train was a bit far but other than that a great place to stay.
Hotel was very convenient. 7 minutes walk to train station. Always busy due to proximity to Japan National Stadium and Ball diamond. Elevator usually busy. Need to take 2 elevators to get to room. Room was very quiet which is appreciated. Could really use Kleenex box, extra towels to wipe down sink after use. Only 2 bath and hand towels given. Toilet is heated and lid opens automatically once you open bathroom door.
Amazing hotel in a central but not too busy location close to the subway. Staff were friendly, accommodating, and spoke excellent English which was very helpful as a tourist who does not speak Japanese. They assisted with luggage delivery to our next hotel which was seamless. It’s located just next to the Swallows stadium and we were lucky enough to have a great view of the game from our room. The breakfast was affordable and delicious with tons of options. Of note, they do have a gender separated public bath but we didn’t use it. Would def recommend staying here, not a single complaint.
