Excellent location, very near to Ueno train station. Though hotel is old but room is clean and the bed was comfortable. Just that no replacement of towels when put the used one outside room , had to call the front desk for new towels. Other than this all good and happy with the stay in this hotel. Would recommend if you are looking for stay near station. Thank you .

Annex building was not so great in terms of cleanliness and the room had unbearable noise from pachinko beside. However, staff was extremely helpful and considerate. In the end I paid extra to upgrade my room to queen bed in main building which was a lot better.

the hotel is an older hotel that is dated and shows its age though overall well maintained. room was smaller than i expected but adequate for our needs as a layover for our overall trip in japan. staff was friendly and helpful. onsen was immaculately clean and well maintained. after we checked out they offered to hold our bags until we were ready to leave tokyo. that was very helpful, we wanted to see other parts of tokyo before we headed to kyoto. the street where hotel is located looks sketchy it’s very safe and i had no issues walking alone to the 7-11 or coffee shop down the street. i would definitely recommend and stay again.

Room was incredibly small but not unexpected. Location was great and staff spoke enough English to meet our needs. Baths were nice. To confuse things, there is another Centurion hotel in the same general area so make sure you know which one is which!

The rooms in the hotel are much smaller than what the photos seem to suggest. The bed had walls on 3 sides. And there was barely any walking space left on the 4th side.

Location is close to Ueno station (good). Room is small, bathroom is small. Spa is a plus. We stayed in the annex building, need to cross street to use spa. However, 3.5 star is a bit over rated. I will say it is more like 3 star.

We had a Japanese style room with tatami mat and bed on floor. It was a poor choice for us due to mobility limitations on and off floor. We were not able to change our room due to our long days out of hotel. I would not book this room again

We canceled our booking right away after seeing the conditions of this hotel. We were placed in the annex building for a bunk bed room. The halls had a musty and unpleasant smell and right as I entered the room, the AC unit was dirty and not working. The hotel staff let us change rooms but the same issues persisted, inside of the AC was disgusting and did not cool the room down after hours of lowest settings. The air purifier was also dirty and dusty. For the room itself, both rooms we looked at had a very unpleasant feel. The windows were pressed against another building and the carpets felt unsanitary. The room itself was absolutely tiny for the price. We canceled our original 7 day booking and only received a refund for 6 days without even sleeping for the night. I wouldn't recommend you stay at this hotel.

It was a short stay for one night as we flew into Narita and were taking the bullet train next morning. Conveniently located and the bed was comfortable and clean. The only consideration is that the room was very tiny and a bit tight for three adults with three suitcases.
