The location was spectacular and staff were super nice! For those that are shy to bathe/shower in front of others - this may not be the place for you!

Nice tradition Onsen
The location is good, this place look like originally is a Onsen then a hotel. U can see different ppl coming to use the Onsen daily. More traditional(a bit old but still ok) than modern. Things they provide is complete. Comfort to sleep too. Price that u pay in Tokyo hotel. I think this is a good choice. Only things the breakfast is below basic. If they can improve that. I think I will 👍
My son and I loved it there it was old world charm.

Nice inn for backpackers
It's hard to be in a Country where people mostly do nit speak your language but the staff there were very accommodating. They try to help you as much possible even with sign language😊 Its close to the train station, quiet, unique experienced. It makes me wanna have my own capsule business.
Mostly it was super dirty. The water tasted super suspect. The sheets and bedding were clean but the physical capsule was dirty, and the lights/TV/electricity inside my capsule didn't work. The bathrooms were dirty and the place was quite frankly falling apart a little bit. The location was convenient for where I was going (Sumo Hall down the road) and right near a JR train station, and tons of restaurants, so that's great. And the staff were nice. But yeah. I mean it's dirt cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. But it's not a very nice capsule hotel.
Our teenage daughter wanted to stay in a capsule hotel, so we decided to try it for a night. It's close to a metro station, but not a great area. The capsules themselves were older, but still ok. The sauna was nice (it's an extra ¥100 for ladies) but didn't have any instructions in English (probably good to look up the procedures before trying for the first time)...they had free toast and coffee/tea in the morning which was nice.

Toothbrush, hand towel, bath towel, shampoo, body wash and Japanese Yukata are free to use.
I've stayed at this capsule hotel three times over the past 8 years or so. I really like everything about it. It is great to wake up at 1am jetlagged and be able to go to a warm bath or sauna. I always feel safe and comfortable sleeping here. The really only drawback is nothing they can do anything about which is that if you are a couple then you are on separate floors. Also, my wife says that it is somewhat annoying for her to access her bath area. Other than that, I would always recommend this hotel.

Funky lil capsule hotel, close to the station, heaps of good food around the place, friendly staff and the sauna was a cool traditional experience. The bed was fine but it got a lil hot in the capsule. I thought there might have been A/C in there

A fun adventure
I stayed here because I wanted to have the "capsule hotel" experience and this is one of the few places that allow women. It really was fun to spend two nights pretending I was in a space ship, and anyone looking for the experience I would recommend it, but I would also say that even though you have a little more privacy compared to the typical bunk bed hostel, you still have all the noise. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful- very kind in helping me to learn all the cultural things about Japan that I didn't know. You can see Tokyo Skytree from the hotel and street which is a neat view.
about a 15 minute walk away from tokyo skytree, this capsule hotel is in a very convenient location. the female capsule rooms are on two separate floors from the men so it was very safe. they also have lockers, although very very narrow and small, that you can store your things in.
The capsule experience was cool, but I wouldn't stay here again. The main problems with this hostel are security and comfort. They don't check IDs before handing your keys back to you and at one point actually handed me someone else's key. It also gets very hot in the capsules and the AC didn't work. The only other thing that I really disliked was the fact that there were not any "real showers." All they had was the sit down showers in the basement, which you had to go down from the 6th floor, through the lobby, to get to.
