Clean room, nice amenities, pool was closed for winter. 5 minute walk to Ryokugo Station which is 2 stops to Akihabara station and Yamonote Line, good restaurants by station, convenience stores, coffee shops, sumo stadium.
It was a value for money hotel with a public baths in the basement.
It is a self contained hotel and had everything within the hotel - restaurants, swimming pool, smoking area, and even a convenience store!
One downside was that they let underage kids stay on their own without the guardians. So the kids who were staying on my floor were freely playing loudly in the corridors after 22:00 every night I stayed and that was a real nuisance.
In the end, they changed my room when I made a complaint and resolved the issue. Would come back to this hotel in the future.
This is currently my favorite APA Hotel in all of Japan and currently my favorite hotel in Tokyo. For a budget friendly hotel, this place is hard to beat. You are situated right next to the train station and have a variety of restaurant options just a 5 minute walk away. I personally recommend Tonkatsu Hasegawa. The rooms are clean and the amenities are fantastic by American standards, but the real selling point for me is the 24/7 Lawson konbini on the 2nd floor. This is a game changer if you find yourself in a pinch for food or are recovering from a long night of partying and do not have the strength to leave the hotel. I am now a die hard Lawson fan. The hotel and Lawson staff also speak English if you're not quite fluent in Japanese yet. Please do your research before coming to this hotel or any hotel in Japan. I did overhear guests being rude to staff over the check-in and check-out times as well as the fees associated with checking out late. All of this information is available on this page and easy to find. If you do show up early, you can ask the staff to hold onto your luggage until it is time to check-in. If you are checking out and have quite a bit of time before you have to leave to your next destination, you can also ask the staff to hold onto your luggage while you do some last minute exploring or shopping. I will be returning to this hotel again.

Service was good. Like having the onsen, rooms was small! Be prepared to store your suitcase under the bed. Proximity to train station was convenient.
Good location. It’s 7 minutes walk to train station. Lots of good food in the area. We booked the 3 single beds room. The hotel room is small. We put our luggage’s underneath our beds. I visited the onsen on B1 floor. It was a nice hot spring. There’s a convenient store inside the hotel. The only problem with this hotel is their laundry facility. There are only 8 sets of washers and dryers. It’s not enough since it’s a big hotel. It doesn’t matter what time you go, there was always a line up to use the machines. The dryer is only good for a few pieces of clothing for one hour run. If you have more, it will take more than 2 hours. Despite we put in more coins in the dryer, our clothes weren’t dry after 2 hours. We took them back to the room to hang dry. I suggest to use a laundromat outside the hotel instead if you need to wash clothes during your stay.
The staff was wonderful, but the beds and pillows were really uncomfortable.
The air in the room could only be set to heat, so the room was always hot. Luckily the front desk gave us a small fan, but it still wasnt the best
The room was spotless. The staff was courteous and helpful with directions and suggestions of places to visit. A little sad I couldnt use the top floor pool or public bath due to having tatoos.
Second time staying here everything is always clean and staff is always helpful. Only issues is the elevator waiting times. But definitely not a deal breaker!
Bare minimum hotel with very small rooms. Nothing special, elevators took forever. It was nice that had a Lawson Station in the building and access to local subway line was nearby.

Everything was awful!! Room was not at all what was advertised and there was no AC the room was hot and tiny! Unclean and the bedding was all torn! We asked for a bigger room or refund and was denied both!! Ruined 4 days of our trip to Japan
Very good access to all major spots such as Akihabara, Shibuya and Shinjuku via the nearby train station.
Staff are very welcoming and understanding which was a pleasant experience.
