I stayed at an APA hotel in Osaka, and it was lovely, but I did not like the APA hotel in this area. It was actually quite far from the train station; you have to walk at least 15-20 minutes. In Osaka, they gave me an umbrella, but here I had to buy one from them. Overall, it was okay, but I definitely won't come back to the APA in this area. They did not have a smoking area in the hotel, even though almost all hotels do. We know we can't smoke anywhere in Japan except in designated smoking areas, so this was an issue because there was no smoking area nearby.

APA is a solid choice for a hotel. Only gripe was that most cups came in a single set when we had two occupants.

A tiny room with all amenities needed, in a good location, and close to the metro. Suggestion: make the bathroom soundproof by using a proper door that closes hermetically. The room is already really tiny. The current door makes that all the small sounds are heard inside/outside the bathroom.

Stayed from 5/10/24 thru 5/16/24 with a group of 4. Had to get 2 rooms and we were able to get them next to each other. The rooms are on the small end. Bed was comfortable in my opinion but there was a lot of dust. Cleaning was minimal with only the towels and bedding getting changed, trash taken out and it looked like the bathroom was cleaned.

Easy check in check out with polite and friendly multilingual staff. Getting around is nice and easy due to proximity to train station, also plenty to do in the local area. Only downside to this particular APA Hotel is the lack of laundry/dryer room and it only has 1 lift. Eco-friendly room service is a nice option. Had a nice stay, value for money, would recommend.

Stayed 6 nights. Great hotel, albeit slightly further away from the main railways (6-9 min) but plus side is that it is equal distant from both metro lines. Not too far from Akihabara's main streets so shopping was convenient enough. As usual for Japan please check the square footage of the room so you know what you are getting. Rooms here (that we booked) were lower costed but much more compact, luggage space under the bed helped. The bathroom is also on the small side and can be a bit cramped for larger folks. Staff super friendly and there were no issues during our stay. There were 2 combini nearby as well as a few smaller restraints and plenty of vending machines.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I liked the safety of the hotel as the only way to access the floors with rooms was with a key card, and the easy key deposit check out was very convenient
