IF you are from the UK DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. The air con was not working in our room. We are from the UK so are not used to such high temperatures. We asked for help from the reception which were rude. They feebly attempted to fix the issue but could not, they said they could not offer us another room and said 'good luck' and left. We were exhausted and could not sleep the whole night. We had come for a wedding so being so tired was not ideal as we looked terrible. Then the lady at the desk was so rude to us in her cold, smirking attitude when we said we couldn't sleep the whole night. She said that this is a normal issue in Tirana and cant be helped. She then said the hotel does not offer compensation. Her rudeness and her smile at not being able to help us is unacceptable. Albania is becoming a tourist destination and if this hotel wants tourists to stay with them, they need to learn basic customer service. The food was also disgusting. I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Nice, modern hotel in a great location
Great hotel in central Tirana, just a short walk from 9 Katëshet but still quiet. Clean, modern, and comfortable. Room was a bit smaller than expected and missing a few small niceties like glasses, but was really good value for money. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Starlight. I didn't shop around much, so I can't speak to the value compared to competitors in Tirana. But I felt like I got my money's worth without a doubt. My room was large, clean, and modern. I had a great view of the city and a balcony which was nice. The A/C worked really well which was a lifesaver because it was extremely hot outside. I didn't interact with the staff a ton, but when I did they were friendly and professional. The neighborhood felt safe to me and it was very walkable to get to the main square and surrounding attractions. There are several corner stores with cheap water, snacks, etc. on the same block. Maybe if I had one tiny area for improvement it would be that the shower was hard to get the temperature right.

Good clean and modern hotel in a great location for seeing Tirana on holiday (walkable to castle and square). Very comfy beds and quiet room, with outdoor seating for a drink in the evenings.

Excellent stay at the Starlight Hotel which is very new, modern and kept spotlessly clean. Rooms spacious, good facilities, very comfortable bed and a nice view. Very centrally located, just five minutes from Skanderbeg Square and where to catch the bus. Restaurant and bar on-site. All the staff very helpful and friendly. Recommend to others and would definitely stay there again.

Great location
Our first 2 nights in Albania were at this hotel. It's location is excellent. You can walk all of downtown and see the sites from here. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and clean. There was parking available. We would stay again!
