Really nice stay , right on the beach in timmendorfer , working long hours so not much chance to use the facilities, pool looked lovely from the bar , breakfast was amazing , lots of choice and really friendly helpful staff

Extremely old and expensive hotel.Do not recommend
I don't know where to start, everything was below average or outright bad. First of all, no AC?! 4 star hotel and no AC, no ventilator, no nothing. No parking, no spa access, no beach chairs, just a 3 euro voucher for beach access. The hotel is very old, and smells like it. The water in the toilet will not stop running, and they couldn't get a hold of the repair man, so we just had to sleep through the noise and the heat. The breakfast was bland and the same each day, no variation. The elevator extremely slow, and just two of them for the whole building. It can take up to 10 min to get from the 6th floor to the lobby. And with a pregnant wife stairs are not an option. The good things were the personnel that was nice, and the location, just on the beachfront. Overall this doesn't make up for all the shortcomings. Very expensive for what it offers. It needs an extensive renovation work.

Timmerndorferstrand is fantastic. Maritim hotel has the most amazing pool area and breakfast. the rooms are small but comfortable with bath tub, that we appreciate. The location directrly by the sea is wonderful.

Nie wieder! Albtraum für Allergiker.
Nie wieder!!! Zwei Stunden bei Ankunft auf das fertige Zimmer gewartet. Keine Entschuldung. Hatte nachweislich bei Reservierung um Allergiker-Zimmer und Bettwäsche gebeten, wurde dann aber in Hunde-Zimmer einquartiert. Drei komplette Etagen des Hotels sind für Gäste mit Hunden, es war/ist ein Albtraum für Allergiker. Rezeption generell sehr unfreundlich , boten erst am 3.Tag ein Wechselzimmer an. Keiner der Wünsche aus der Reservierung wurde vom Hotel weitergeleitet und umgesetzt. Hatte massive Probleme vor Ort auch mit Reservierung im Restaurant der Halbpension. Null entgegenkommen, keine Entschuldung, nie wieder !!!! Zimmer alt und abgewohnt und fleckig.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen; merkt man insbesondere an den Balkonen. Auf den Balkonen kann man nicht wirklich sitzen, der Putz kommt bereits runter und es ist einfach nicht schön dadurch. Auch der Blick auf das nicht schöne Vordach in den unteren Etagen ist sehr schlecht. Das kann man heutzutage deutlich besser gestalten mit einem Gründach o.ä. Der Service ist gut gewesen. Die Reinigung kann man leider nur selten verstehen und das Zimmer wurde immer erst sehr spät gereinigt. Aufgefüllt wurden Seife & Co dabei nur selten, musste immer alles nachgefordert werden.
