I checked in at 6pm on Aug 20th, the hotel office building was dark with a “closed” sign
hanging in the front. I then called the office and surprisingly I could neither talk to anyone nor leave a voicemail because the mail box was full. It was upsetting that this hotel completely disregarded their customers in such an unprofessional manner. I was left high and dry and had to rearrange my hotel booking in the evening. Horrible experience ever! Would appreciate Hotel.com to link us up with reliable hotels only.
If you are going to Northern Maine, Jackman Maine you have to stay at Sky Lodge - Main Lodge is a gem, a beautiful time stood still lodge - we stayed in a cabin across the street - Oh My - every thing you need and more - just a very special place. Loved it.
We stayed in a cabin out in the field. It was spotless, so kudos to the cleaning team! It had more than enough room, with three bedrooms. The layout was fantastic... I cant say enough good things. We had dinner in the restaurant, it was delicious and the staff was amazing. We will be back!
Beautiful, roomy cabins. Very conveniently located. Staff was very attentive and took care of our needs, while respecting COVID restrictions with check in, etc. Definitely recommend and would stay again!
We have been waiting to stay at the Sky Lodge for years and after a huge snafu in May of 2019, we didn't think we would ever stay there but we gave them a second chance. The manager Rachel is lovely as are the other staff, they are very accommodating, friendly and nice. Clean, cozy but grand Maine Lodge with history! a few suggestions: The coffee and cream was always empty when we went attempted to fill our cups, even at 730am, also the black board stated the breakfast was 12.95 for not very much quite frankly and we were charged 14.95. We are still attempting to work that out. Im sure it is only an oversight. We will definitely stay again, and not bother with "pay for breakfast" but rather stay with the continental. We did enjoy our dinner very much! Kudos to the chef!
Very fun option in an area without many options. :) Historic log lodge with fascinating history and small but attentive staff. Shared areas and rooms are very nice. Bathrooms are dated but functional. Would recommend!

The main lodge is very unique with interesting décor at every turn. The bed was clean and comfy. Staff could not have been more cordial. Pastries and fruit with great coffee and conversation started our day off right! The only issue I had was on the Expedia site it shows tv, coffee, and microwave in the room. They are not, but we did nicely without them.
