Don't always believe what you read in the guide books... except for this hotel!
The bathroom door did not close, the loo roll holder fell off the wall, the shower didn't even trickle just dripped, curtains a foot too short. The last was ok because you could still watch the wine-os in the park opposite for the evenings entertainment!
Breakfast stale bread, lumpy milk and the foulest coffee. BUT the bed was really comfy!
Staying in the Ghetto was itself quite disturbing and topped by the poor hotel we were very glad to leave. Yes you can easily get around the ghetto from here, but the whole place is very eerie.
On our wander round we found a pension just on the town walls which looked wonderful and we wished we had stayed there.
The thing is that it wouldn't take much to make this hotel really nice and a sanctuary in a scary place, but right now it is not.
