We had really high hopes for this place. Previous reviews and pictures made it look promising.
The hotel facility is well maintained and went through remodeling, with full service bar and restaurant. Which has a really nice vibe. With lots of indoor/outdoor seating. In the afternoon they have live music and a few yard games to entertain their guests. Bar prices are on the high end, with a draft beer costing almost $9 bucks. We didn't try the food, can't say much on that.
Staff was friendly and helpful. They offered complimentary coffee and fruit in the am, nice touch, but for the price per night, they should include at least continental breakfast.
The room was nothing extraordinary, it was a good size, two beds TV and a working AC unit. The bathroom was a little small and the way that they arranged the shower makes you feel cramped, if you are a bigger person you may hit yourself showering right under the shower head.
Sadly the cleanliness of the room and bathroom left a lot to desire. The day we checked in, there were hairs and dirt spots in the bathroom sink and floors around the toilet. We checked in late, so decided to stay and not make a fuss about it. The 3 nights we were there, they never made our room, they only gave us new towels, one day they hang one of the dirty towels back up. Not a clean experience. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Window blinds blacked out room great and that helped. We could hear all of our neighbors above and sides, which is not good.
