Cancelled reservation
Our experience was terrible. I messaged the host 2 weeks before our arrival inquiring about reservation status because of the recent hurricane. No response. I messaged the house the night before and the morning of our reservation. No response. I contacted VRBO and they tried to contact the host . No response. On our way to the airport the host messaged me and cancelled our reservation due to no electricity. It would have been different if the host would have told us two weeks ago when I first messaged.. It was awful. Arrived at our destination with no place to stay. Lesson learned. If host doesn't respond call VRBO.

Florida Adventure
We stayed for 2 nights while we explored the local beaches before he headed to Sarasota. The neighborhood wasn't great but we never felt uncomfortable. The apartment and decorations were cute and sufficient for our needs. The beds weren't terribly comfortable and the road noise was bad.. I actually slept on the couch the 2nd night and I'm not a light sleeper. Suggestions: The lint trap in the dryer had over an inch of lint, thankfully we checked. There is no trashcan in the bathroom and the washcloths are paper thin and need replaced. Also, there are two apartments and 'A' was not listed in the address but we figured it out after talking with the gentleman next door. The host was excellent to communicate with and super friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
