I recently stayed at Tallinn Viimsi SPA Hotel and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, I mentioned that it was my birthday and requested a larger room since I was traveling with my small child. Dmitry at the reception kindly upgraded our room without informing us about any additional charges for my 3-year-old daughter's bed. However, at checkout, the unfriendly Jekaterina presented a bill that included fees for two nights for the additional bed. I explained that Dmitry did not mention these charges, especially since I had noted that I am a regular guest, it was my birthday, and we had booked two massages.
We enjoyed the twice-booked Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massages (60 minutes each) and the delicious ice cream milkshake in the spa. Victoria, the housekeeper, was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff were not smiling and did not make us feel welcome.
Overall, due to this experience, I will look elsewhere for my next trip to Tallinn.
