We are right in the middle of 4 float operations, 2 miles North of Diamondhead & War Eagle, 1 mile South of Peytons Place and 3 miles South of Eagle Bluff. We are a little over 1 mile South from Edmondson (Combs Bridge) access point which is one of many public access points where anyone can bring and use their own floatation device or spend the day fishing, hiking, etc.
Public access areas on the Illinois River are open for people to visit seven days a week. Those include Round Hollow, Stunkard, Peavine, Edmondson (Combs Bridge), No Head Hollow, Todd and Echota. Echota and No Head Hollow feature boat ramps, while the others have gravel bars from which guests can launch their boats. The Illinois River is an excellent fishing destination for catching smallmouth and largemouth bass, channel and flathead catfish, walleye and various sunfish.
Sparrow Hawk Wildlife Management Area and J. T. Nickel Family Nature and Wildlife Preserve are both nearby as well and open daily for hiking!
Exact address will be provided after booking reservation and door code will be provided the day before arrival.
