Cozy cabin for relaxing. On site there is a grill, picnic table, fire pit, and a back porch overlooking the mountains and highway. There is a paved access road to the cabin making it great for motorcycle riders to park and anyone pulling a trailer. The cabin is conveniently located near Blue Ridge Parkway for sightseeing, hiking, and bicycling. Lake Junaluska is nearby for walking and fishing. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Sits between historic downtown Sylva and historic downtown Waynesville. Cherokee casino is just 25 minutes away if you like to gamble. Sits close to two hospitals for any unexpected emergencies. It is located just 17 minutes away for Western Carolina University to attend sporting events or graduations. Lastly there are two outdoor cameras for safety purposes.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Wash any dirty dishes. I will put them away when I get there. Put used towels in the bath tub. Take inside trash, to the outside trash can. Set the heating/ac thermostat to 69 upon leaving. Thank you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Leave the cabin/yard in same condition I present 2 U. I should only have to do a basic clean. No activities that would cause repairs or replacements.
The wood stove inside is locked because it is not to be used. It is my secondary heating source. I otherwise use central heating/air thats not messy.

The property is beautiful a wonderful cabin to enjoy relaxing at after enjoying the outdoors. The host has refinished the home. It was her fathers. She has done the wirk herself. I am an artist and builder and i know what effort it takes to do so. The home has a large open common great room kitchen. Just off main road. The host was so accommodating and responded quickly. I was up for a loss of a family member and she even let my dog out for me checking on the heat for me with the weather plummeting to make sure we had everything and we did from the start. Best host and home ive visited. She deserves more than the stars i could give her

Not sure why there is a national Park experience rating… We did not experience a national park while we were there.Otherwise, worked great for what we needed, and appreciated post communication. Would gladly use the space again.

The house was spotless and cozy. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed and more. The view was great and the water in the shower gets nice and hot to get good and clean. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning with our coffee.

The cabin overall was great, the road noise during the day is a little loud in the kitchen but we werent usually there during the day. The only issue we had is the TV had the option for netflix or Disney but once selected, none of the remotes would work within those apps.

Host was very helpful when we had a plumbing issue. She came over right away and fixed the problem easily. She was very kind. One complaint we had was a lot of the dishes were dirty. I guess the previous guests didn't wash the dishes very well and the host didn't check them before putting them away. We still had an enjoyable stay.

Check in process was super easy, very clean. Excellent view. So peaceful, even near the highway was still peaceful. Grill worked great, microwave and fridge all clean and worked well. Definitely recommend.
