Nice place to stay, friendly staff, good food at restaurant, room decor nice, families all good including a capsule coffee machine & stocked fridge, rooms not large & only let down bed was a bit saggy which knocked it back from 5 stars. But close to lots of things.

Friendly helpful staff, arrived early and was able to check in straight away. The room was sunny and warm, clean and the beds were comfortable. Easy walking distance to Sydney harbour and main shopping area. 5 min walk to train and tram. Buffet breakfast had a good variety. The only issue was the internet, we kept losing the connection and it was hard to reconnect.

We stayed for 6 night. It was conveniently located with only a short walk to the opera house, restuarants, shopping and public transportation. The hotel was very clean with a friendly staff. The only negitive would be the room size which was a little small, but managable with just the two of us.

Tank Stream is an excellent option for people wanting a better price for a decent hotel. It's fairly recently renovated so in good condition, close to light rail, or if you like walking its walkable to circular quay, martin place, pitt st mall, the rocks. They're doing some updates in reception some noise but not outrageous
