We arrived on the first night to find blood stains on the sheets, rooms we passed smelt like weed and another patron asked me if I was in a gang on the way in the door. Asked the staff to change the sheets and told them about the problem and they did not seem to care. Requested two extra pillows that were never received. The room and the hotel itself were filthy and unmaintained. The area is rundown. Do not let the pictures fool you, this place sucks.

Inside of an old pub refurbished into a bright, clean, modern hotel with a Spanish Villa appearance. Staff happy to see you and offered the choice of a room facing the outside, or a quieter room facing the inside which I chose. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and ear plugs provided. Very clever room layout being half bathroom and half bedroom, effectively doubling the space of each. Overall 10/10. Minus 1 point because of the loud guest smoking as they walked around the common inner balcony outside everyone's window. No fault of the hotel, but it detracted from the experience. Minus another point because of the sharp little cabinet above the sink which I bumped my head on after brushing my teeth each morning. There is a lot of other wall space where this could be located. Minus a third point for the firm 6 layer pillow. I prefer 1-2 layers, but that's just me. I ended up using a bag of clothes wrapped in a towel as my pillow. One point back because of the door closer. It springs open to make it easy to enter and it springs closed. Amazing. Final score 8/10.

Misleading advertising. Online all photos of a single room appears to have a seperate bathroom and is a good size. I walked into a studio/bedsit. Smaller than it says online. The toilet was 5 feet from the bed, the shower 2 feet from the bed. Mould covered air conditioner and mould covered wall and windowsills. Inside of the kettle was also mouldy. They would not change my room. After I complained I received a refund 3 days later. Not much in the way of food within walking distance and no food at the hotel. No lifts so you have to carry your luggage up stairs. Was in good walking distance to the train. Would not stay here again.

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in, do not trust the photos. Firstly the off street parking is limited and if you check in before or after school,( as one is behind the hotel), than expect to be stuck in a line of traffic for about 40mins). Our twin room was tiny and when I turned on the bathroom switch which also runs the exhaust fan it was as loud as a lawnmower. We asked reception for another room as obviously the fan motor was broken and grudgingly he agreed. The alternate twin room seemed bigger but it wasn’t until the evening we found it was worse. The second bed was under a super low ceiling, seriously watch your head, and had no air con. There were 2 connecting doors by the first bed which meant we got to hear everything said by our neighbors. The tvs didn’t work, one no reception, the other flat batteries in the remote. The range hood light didn’t work either and as there was no bedside or lamp, your choice was ceiling light the entire room or nothing. Every time a person walked past the room wheeling their bag it was loud like your door was open. We were so tired that we had to stay the first night, but as soon as we could we left early the next morning to find another place to stay. Unfortunately we had prepaid so we knew we couldn’t get a refund for the second night, but we just had to get out. In hindsight the fact that there were complimentary earplugs with the coffee and sugar, we should have seen the red flag then.

The hotel was absolutely not as it is advertised. There is literally nowhere to park or pull up near the entrance. There are currently extensive construction happening during the hotel which causes a constant and loud hammering throughout the building, the street noise is also heard throughout the building. Once in the room I was hit with the awful smell of mould and dampness. It was so small that I had to sideways walk past the fridge, draws and cabinet at the end of the bed. The bathroom door didn’t close, which was likely good for preventing me getting mould sickness from the heavy layer of mould coating the walls and ceiling, plus the build up of dust in the extractor fan. The shower was so weak, which I also think was good so other guests don’t shower too long as you hear the water from the building run through the pipes on the open ceiling…which makes it sound as though water is pouring into your room. The walls seemed to be made of paper as the neighbouring rooms could be heard perfectly, every conversation, bathroom visit, tv, alarm…everything! Absolute worst sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel, ever!

Great place for short stays if you don’t have a car.Being on a main highway there is no off street parking or parking for taxi services so you have to walk half a block for nearest parking but saying that the train station and general shops are only a 4 minute walk so very easy and economical to get to the city or airport from there.It was quite noisy early mornings because of the luggage trolley rattling over the tiled walkway with the comings and goings of travellers but our room was very clean and comfortable but the closeness of shops and rail transportation made up for the few minor inconveniences.Would definitely stay there again.

Firstly the room was filthy, hair strands literally everywhere, and there was a bunch of curly hair under the bin. And the opening was facing the road so it is so noisy with the beeping noise. The toilet suite stands in the room without any glass wall. And the suburb is pretty dangerous for a single traveler to walk alone. But the staff were pretty friendly and nice.

Dont stay here. They gave us a terrible room. A loud buzzing noise that would not stop unless we took our card out of the power. We raised this with the attendant and refused to change our rooms saying all rooms were booked out even though we saw that there was many available. He did not help and did not care about our dilemma. It was late at night so we had to book another room at the Pullman for a cheaper price and it had a way better facilities and customer service.
