In comparison to other 5-star hotels we’ve previously stayed at, I’d rate this as a 3 . It’s clean and the location is great but it’s not a 5-star hotel.
•Our so called Mountain View was literally a concrete wall and a big, red pipe. When we asked the receptionist about it, telling her that’s not what they advertised on the website, her only response was that it’s the only room they have available and that there’s nothing she can do for us.
•When we arrived, there were no bathrobes in our room, which is fine. Sometimes you forget. We called reception in the afternoon to let them know. When we woke up the morning after, they still hadn’t delivered the robes. So we had to call them a second time, to have them bring them to our room. 15 hours later.
•Same thing happened when we asked to borrow an iron, we had to call reception three times to have an iron brought to our room.
•The breakfast is not impressive at all. Especially the coffee machine. It’s not even close to being good coffee and when we asked if we could have a real cappuccino from the hotel bar, we were told we had to pay for them.
•There’s a little beach bar that belongs to the hotel. They serve drinks and food. We ordered a pizza Margherita and the grilled chicken. The chicken was undercooked. There was literally red/pink parts inside the chicken filet. We told the waitress about it who apologized and asked if we wanted something else. Which we declined. She talked to her manager who told her we still had
