We stay here every year and love the location in Susanville. The staff at check-in were great and our room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, when we got to breakfast, there was not a lot of food left and they were not refilling so we had to find elsewhere.

Clean but odd bathroom renovation
Like other comments, I did smell smoke when entering the room but not in the corridor. Turned on the air and it seemed to go away. This is an older motel that has been renovated. The one issue in our room is that the bathroom granite counter was too close to the toilet so I literally could not put my left arm down as it was too tight. The linens were very nice and the room very clean. The tv did not connect and since we arrive very late I did not call to get it fixed.

Room was not as clean as I was hoping for/ okay with. Bathtub drain had visible sludge around it that I wiped off with a wet wipe. I was so grossed out I didn’t shower. When I told the staff, they were less than apologetic or concerned. Bed was comfy, sheets felt good but carpet was also dirty.

The room was amazing. Very clean. Nice staff. Very good experience, except for someone knocking on our door at 8:30ish, asking when we eete going to leave. Check out isnt intil 11. I dont start getting good sleep until early morning so it was annoying to be woke up early. Otherwise awesome.

The hotel itself was very clean as well as our room. The air conditioning unit however was awful. It would come out extremely cold then turn off & it would get really warm. It made noises the entire time. At one point it woke me up thinking there was someone in our room. It was an uncomfortable night sleep-wise.
