Wonderful views
Strahan village provides the majority of the beds and dining in Strahan. We stayed in one of the cottages - this was a hotel room in an old cottage-style house. No self-catering facilities are provided. The room was nice, though the over-large furniture took up valuable space. The views from the balcony were wonderful

The village waterfront cottage is well located near Gordon River Cruise and food venues. However the room is quite dated, the carpet is musty and the mattress too soft.

The property was spacious , beds comfortable ,good shower. Strahan had little food options -not the fault of the property. Great place to do the river cruise and Hogarth Falls - we were surprised not more on offer

Perfect position overlooking Macquarie Harbour. Walk to restaurants. Reception helpful. Mezzanine rooms spacious with large balcony. Only negative was the state of the grounds- overgrown and full of weeds

We stayed in an upstairs room in the white house. Great position and view. Excellent bed, bedding and ensuite. Wooden construction so there is some noise from adjoining room.

Would have liked a microwave and some crockery. Limited options for breakfast and dining on a Sunday. Location was lively, staff at reception were very helpful, they advised on a cruise and train trip options, and allowed us to keeo our car there until we returned.

We were in a Hilltop room, where the air-conditioner was noisy and the bathroom needed some maintenance. In addition the blind in the main room had water stains on it. Toilet leaking and the soap holder had all the chrome plating missing. For the price of the room I would have expected better room condition considering the price. On a positive note the buffet was excellent.

Property was extremely clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable and the view from the room was spectacular. Only negative was that after showering a bad smell came up from the bathroom drain. But as we were leaving that morning it wasnt an issue. Reported the problem to reception.

Nice but dated rooms.
Strahan Village is a great little complex, it could do with a bit of TLC, the building where we weee staying looked almost derelict, turned out it isn’t! Our room was basic almost student flat accommodation, however it was only for the one night. The food and staff made up for all the other short comings.
