Dreadful landlady, aggressive and unhelpful. The room was cold, filled with mould. Paint peeling, stains all over the mattress. Left feeling very itchy. Like a prison camp.
I used this accommodation for work which provided me with what I needed just would not like to stay for a holiday as vey basic and shared bathroom and toilet.
Stayed here a few times for work purposes ……. Good value for money …. Clean , comfy and convenient for town…… only down side is the stairs to all rooms ….. only an issue if you have mobility problems or lots of luggage !!!
I love that we did not need to move the car all weekend. Theres 24 hour parking that cost us no more than 3 pounds and Sunday was free.
Very welcoming and easy check in. Room was as stated and very clean. Tea and coffee available in the room.
We went for dinner at the peking garden that I 1000 percent reccomend and did a pub crawl from the hotel around town. An amazing night out and our 24 hour access key back into the hotel proved useful!
The shower was amazing! Super warm and powerful.
Easy check out.
Thank you the hoptimist for being affordable, clean and welcoming
One night stay in this loud hotel and constant noise all night outside. Booked as a stopover for my daughter and myself but got a call as we were on our way to the hotel to advise that there was
Issues with hotels.com allowing children when this is for over 18s only.
They kindly allowed us to stay as long as we didn’t go through the bar but to find out a couple of hours before we can check in wasn’t great.
The room was very basic and the sink was damaged, the shower area was dirty and very dated.
