Rich in history, the Victorian was moved from Lyons, Kansas to Steamboat Springs beginning in 1991. It took six trips to deliver the entire thing. Though it has been restored and updated, it has kept its original Victorian charm.
This gorgeous three story plus garage home has 8 bedrooms, 7 en-suite bathrooms with one just outside the bedroom plus two additional half baths and a stand alone shower.
The lower level of the property features a game room with a pool table, wet bar, and spacious theater perfect for cozying up and watching your favorite shows or movies. This floor also features a guest suite with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and outdoor access.
The main level of the property has a stunning foyer leading into a gourmet, chef's kitchen with granite countertops, and a large dining room for you to enjoy your favorite meals or catch up on the day. The living room has a gas fireplace with a Tiffany mantle and a Steinway piano. A large bedroom with ensuite bath is located on this floor with a half bath and shower located across the hall. Another feature on this floor is the boot dryer room, perfect for warming up and drying out those ski boots after a big powder day.
A gorgeous, carved wood staircase leads you from the main level to the second floor where you will find two master suites. One features a king bed with a stunning gas fireplace and an ensuite bathroom with a claw foot tub, separate shower, and walk-in closet. The second master suite has a seating area, ensuite bathroom, and a private patio with gorgeous mountain views. This floor also has a den with a pull-out sleeper sofa and dedicated bathroom. On down the hall is an office with a stunning roll top desk.
Ascend to the third floor on the carved, winding staircase where you will find your reading oasis with the library/reading area right at the top. This floor has one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a second bedroom with a separate bathroom. Ski area views highlight a kid's tv and game area also located on the third floor.
A 2-car heated garage gives more room for storage and above it is a one bedroom, one bathroom guest suite with a microwave, refrigerator, washer dryer, dining room, and private deck with stunning views.
