Ski-In/Walk-out condo, one of the best locations in Steamboat. Walk out of the back of the building, across a parking lot and click on your skis! It's that simple. At the end of the day, ski right to the back door of the building. *Please note: There is no guarantee that there will be enough snow for this unit to be fully ski-in/ski-out in early ski season (November 15-December 15) and also in late season (after March 20). Snowfall levels vary from year to year.

Storm Meadows is simply one of the best rental property locations in Steamboat, right above Right-O-Way Trail, providing ski-in and walk-out accommodations, and also offers amazing views of the Steamboat ski area.

Enter the unit itself and find a convenient, long foyer which includes plenty of hooks and space for your coats, boots, etc along with a bench. It leads you to the roomy great room, which includes the kitchen, dining and living areas and offers high valued ceilings and the aforementioned incredible vistas.

The living area provides comfortable seating on a leather sofa and loveseat. Sit back and relax by the gas fireplace and take in the fantastic views and/or watch a game, movie or show on the large flat screen TV. Access the balcony from the living area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for cooking a meal.

Behind the sectional is a large dining table and six chairs, perfect for a family or group meal, game or puzzle.

There are also three bar stools at the kitchen counter, great for a bite, beverage or setting up your laptop. Combined with high speed wifi, this makes Storm Meadows 590 a great remote working option.

Off the living area is the king en suite, king bedroom and a full bathroom with a tub shower combo.

The upper level/loft has a large open area that doubles as a living and sleeping space, highlighted by two classic arcade video game machines (Street Fighter II and Rampage/Gauntlet/Joust/Defender). The loft also offers a queen bed, three twin beds, lots of drawer storage and a large flat screen TV.

There are also two separate rooms off the loft, a laundry room that doubles as a closet and a full bathroom with a walk in shower.

Back downstairs and outside the front door, enjoy a meal, beverage, game or book on the covered deck that includes a dining table and four chairs.

Along with its amazing location and views, Storm Meadows 590 offers a community hot tub, community grill, a secured ski locker in the building for all of your gear, as well as a coin operated washer and dryer and free parking outside the building (one parking pass provided).

During the summer, you are right there on the biking and hiking trails, at the base area you have access to other activities such as the Outlaw Mountain Coaster, mini golf, plenty of kid friendly activities, free concerts and movies.

Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

The property is beautiful. Great view, clean and logistically easy access to ski slope. For skiing: You can ski in to back door of condo building. To get to slope you still go out back door of condo but you go down stairs, across street, more stairs and you’re at slope it’s not bad at all.The condo itself has all the amenities you’d need. Great location, but not well maintained or cleaned and no parking.
The location of the property is great, but the unit is not well maintained and was very, very dirty. My wife and I had to pick up moldy food that under one of the beds that easily would have been seen if someone actually cleaned the property. I also believe it is dishonest to not tell anyone renting a large, three-bedroom unit that there is only one parking place. Clearly, anyone renting that large of a unit will have more than one car. We had to spend several hundred dollars to park our second car. I plan to post a review online to let people know to not be misled.

Great communication and help
We had to extend our stay by one day because the pass was closed. The host was quick to respond with options and helped me through the whole process. This was a lovely unit that was close to everything but still quiet at night. I'll definitely stay again.
