Very good, no frills hotel. Clean, comfortable, safe area, and pretty quiet. Conveniently located for the zoo or Barnes Jewish hospital.

The door didn’t open when k walked up so I manually pulled the door apart to enter and was yelled out by the person at the front desk for opening a locked door. The elevator smelled like weed and although there was hardly anyone at the hotel I was placed on the side of the highway where it was very loud all night.

Room was clean, spacious and adequately equipped. Coffee pot would not function, but the duty manager, clerk and maintenance person all 3 responded timely and replaced it wiithin 15 minutes after I reported it. I'm an 86 yr old veteran who served 22 yrs in the US Navy circa 1956-1978. I arrived at the hotel 1.5 hrs before the standard checkin time, tired and needing some rest. I asked the day clerk if it would be possible to do an early check in. She said "... yes, but there would be an additional fee..." I told her i would not pay any fee for a 1.5 hr early check in. Then I went back to my car in the parking lot and slept until 3:30pm, at which time I checked in. If that's Forest Park by MDR's attitude and policy I wont be lodging with you in the fiuture.

Air conditioner didn’t work the whole time front desk stated they were booked so we couldn’t switch rooms fast forward to us checking out they said we need a manager for some assistance but manager never showed up to work before we had to get on the road and now the manager is not answering the phone or Responding back about the situation

Booked a queen room they put us in a handicap double room couldn’t take shower because head was to low unless I wanted to hold the shower head but the beds were comfortable but we got woke up because some guy was yelling at his gf across the hall

Unclean, filthy, damaged property. We had a reservation for two nights. The first night the bed had a LARGE indentation on one side. Literally was like a 500 pound human smashed their body into the bed. Checked out of this room the next day insisting we be given a new room. The new room smelled like dirty feet.It was impossible to ignore. There is broken glass in various locations in the parking lot. The lobby is literally locked from public access during the night. There are shot spotter detection cameras nearby. It’s easy to infer this isn’t a safe neighborhood. The

I asked to see the room before we checked in. This helped as they clearly redid the location. It was just okay. Small bed for what they said was a Queen.under renovation No gym. Nothing but coffee at front desk.. not in your room. Fridge didn’t work. Only one towel. Poor management

N/A. Good weather so just left the sliding door open. Needed the conference room for a family dinner. They went out of their way to make it comfortable. Very good staff! Friendly and helpful. Location is excellent for exploring “The Hill.”
