Too noisy, front desk couldn't careless of your issues, over priced. Property had cob webs in balconies and all over the property were live spider and webs!! Had to ask to change rooms because of loud music and was charged for river view when we got parking lot view!! No one cared, no manager on duty!!

We loved being on the St. Lawrence river with the nstural beauty. Our room was a river view. The only negative comment we have was thw windows were dirty. Which took away from view. Otherwise the experience was 10/10

Clayton is a lovely old village, and the hotel is right on the shore of the river w: a footpaths leading into town. It is a bit expensive but very nice and a good restaurant It

Very close to a charming downtown: you can walk there and back. Rooms are expensive, but interestingly they don't include a breakfast. Fortunately they include coffee/tea in the elevator lobbies/main lobby. Staff is very friendly and reception won't answer direction questions when the concierge is not on duty? (A little bizarre, yes?)

When we checked in there was a situation with our room. We brought it to the attention of the manager. She immediately and professionally remedied the situation. What could have been an uncomfortable stay was one of the nicest stays we have had over our 34 years of marriage. The hotel and grounds are impeccable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The property is beautiful. There was plenty of space in the room and the bathroom was enormous. Breakfast was also delicious, with lots of options.The only problem we had was that the AC in our room kept shutting down. This happened three times over our four day stay. We did report the issue two out of the three times. The third time happened overnight and we were leaving the next morning. We woke up when the room became too warm and stuffy, around 2:00 a.m. We tried to sleep until about 8:00 p.m., then gave up, packed and left.

Everything was lovely except for the supply of hot water. It was non exsistent at first. Told staff and something was adjusted so we could get hot water. Very inconvenient for the level of hotel it was and the price paid.
