Needs some love.
The staff at the hotel were super, whether that was reception or restaurant staff. However, the hotel is tired and old and in need of redecoration. The bedroom was very dated and the bed that i had, had a huge dip in the middle. The shower room was serviceable but very basic. I could hear the person in the next room snoring which was a bit disconcerting. The outside area is in complete contrast and is super, with a lovely pool area for the summer months. The breakfast was nice but again somewhat basic, only filter coffee on offer but the poached eggs were cooked to perfection.

Lovely grounds, comfortable bed, very good breakfast choices, very good staff. Beautiful dog in house. Bathroom tiny, shower curtain wraps around you standing in the bath. Rooms on the small side. Very noisy around pool at weekends. Last bus is 18.30

I found the hotel virtually the same as most hotels on Jersey, dated and in need of modenising. The ground, pool and hot tubs are good.

The premises are very tranquil , the staff are amazing , attentive , professional , friendly and made us feel comfortable away . The bus route into kings street or first tower was okay , walking distance wasn’t bad if u don’t mind walking 15mins . Overall would certainly book again .

Seems like a good offering for aged (over 65 year olds). Booked a single room but extra bunk beds reinstalled. Room was clean however bathroom floor was slippery. Shower head did not flow if you hold it above shoulder so had to squat. Telephone in room does not work so no way to call reception or restaurant. Dining options were limited for £27 spent. Steak Ale Csserole was overcooked perhaps to suit aged clientele. Dining area was clean but ancient. Staff were openly shouting at each other although nice to customers. Sadly will not recommend or return, maybe last resort.

A great family run business that was the perfect base. The owners really made an effort to ensure the guests enjoyed their stays. Though we only stayed for a long weekend there was entertainment with quizzes, bingo and live acts. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice and the dinner menu changes daily, the food was always fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and couldn't be more helpful or polite. Though we didn't take advantage they do offer a shuttle bus into St Helier and for the more mobile its walkable in 20 to 30 mins.

A lovely place to stay with all that you need. The location was central to the island making easy access to all areas. There’s an amazing bus service and easy bike hire.
