This comfortable St. George Plantation vacation home features a private screened swimming pool, plenty of room for your group to relax, and exclusive community amenities including tennis courts, a fitness center, a community clubhouse and pools, nature trails, and bicycle paths. Nestled in treetops and lush native vegetation, Abbeyfeale is secluded while close to Island shops, restaurants, nightlife, and the St. George Island Lighthouse Museum.

The exterior of this property offers a private cul-de-sac setting that just steps away from the community boardwalk leading to the white sandy beach. This vacation home features a private screened pool area, screened entertainment area with a Ping-Pong table, covered picnic table, enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning area, park-style grill, and outdoor swing to relax and enjoy the Island breeze. Enclosed foyer stairs and elevator (available for guest use) lead to the floors above.

The first floor features an open living area with a TV and opens to the covered deck. A queen sleeper sofa in this space offers extra sleeping options. There is the first main bedroom with private deck access and two guest bedrooms with flatscreen TVs with a shared hallway and a full bathroom on this floor. The laundry room with a washer/dryer is located on the first floor. The second floor offers a spacious living/dining/kitchen area with amazing coastal views. The living area features a gas fireplace, TV, and lots of comfortable seating. The living area opens to the amazing second-floor screened porch. The second main bedroom with TV, private deck access, and jetted tub completes the second floor. Abbeyfeale is also equipped with DVD and VCR players, a stereo, and a variety of books, toys, and games for your group to enjoy. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

We loved this house and especially loved the screened in pool. Easy walk to the beach, the only thing that was a bit of a bummer was the boardwalk was too narrow to bring our rolling cart, but it wasn't a big deal to us.

The carpets appeared to have many pet stains and there were a lot of stairs on the board walk. The kitchen needed more towels and trash bags, but the layout of the house was great and the elevator was great!!

Great home for a multigenerational family getaway. Lots of space, an elevator, several decks and steps from the beach. Quiet and safe. Will definitely return.

We enjoyed our week in this property. The elevator was especially helpful with loading and unloading. The TV setup was a little complicated so adding some instructions could be helpful. The property has great character and we would definitely stay there again. The layout is extremely conducive to large groups and families with children. We enjoyed the pool and the selection of reading material. The screened porch was also nice for morning coffee and evening cocktails.
