We booked the room imagining a beach side condo. Upon arriving, we realized this wasn’t a private property at all. Instead it was an old beachfront motel from the 1940’s or 50’s. The bed was a double for 2 adults. The unit was not clean and the furniture was extremely soiled. The property was generally neglected and needed work.
Billed as a pet friendly property, we were shocked when we were given a laundry list (literally 15+ bullets) on the rules for pets. The rules included not allowing pets on bedding or furniture. If your pet jumps on furniture, you were directed to ask for a set of sheets to cover the soiled, aged furnishings.
We broke our reservation (which I will commend the front desk for being accommodating) and moved to a Marriott property. Upon checking out, we nearly got trapped in the elevator that was malfunctioning. The maintenance man admitted he had been trapped in it several times that week.
If you have other options, avoid this property.
