Had an unexpected business change of plans. With several WEEKS notice, the property would not let me cancel nor would they let me re-book at a later date? I could understand if it was the day of, or close to the arrival date, but they literally had weeks to rebook the room, yet woudl not make any accommodation. There is no reason, even if it is "policy", why they could not let me either cancel or rebook at a later date because surely they had ample time to fill the room. Simply put - terrible customer service. I stay in Springfield all the time, and this guarantees I will NEVER stay at this hotel. So, because they did not want to budge on a 2 night stay, they will lose dozens of nights over the next few years. Great customer service choice folks...
