Needed a room for a couple of nights. Spending weekend to help with our daughter moving in to her apartment for college at Eastern Washington University (EWU). Since we're just looking for a place to crash and not a resort, this seemed more reasonable that the $200/night Holiday Inn Express that would have actually been in town (Cheney, WA).
Here we go with our experience:
-Staff: Really nice, friendly...only interaction was at front desk, so nothing else to base it on.
-Room: Okay, but really pretty beat looking. Carpeting definitely needs to go...either to be removed or replaced...furniture was so-so...didn't really seem to match...beds were okay...sheets seemed clean...television seemed newer but signal looked like it is SD and not HD...on the plus side, there was a microwave and mini-fridge
-Bathroom: Water pressure and temps were excellent! Toilet was small and a "low seat" version...no separate fan switch...lighting pretty dim...finishes seemed kind of poorly done...i.e. the floor tile install looked sloppy, the shower curtain arced "rod" install is definitely sloppy and the door frame has peeling paint and is rusty, along with the wall mounted door bumper/stopper appearing chewed up
-"Free" Breakfast: Fairly typical, fairly reasonable for the average non-meat, free breakfast.
-Pool/Hot Tub; Pool water pretty cool…Hot Tub “out of order”/closed
-Fitness Center; Dated equipment…meh
Staff was pleasant; works if you need a place to crash.
