The room was okay…not enough electrical outlets…definitely could use some updating. We were with two other couples and in one of the couples’ room the towel rack fell off the wall. The staff were very courteous and welcoming. The breakfast was great. The outside games for children and adults were great. We enjoyed the outside gas fire pits.

I awoke from my sleep at 3am and had a cockroach crawling on my arm. I immediately left and booked another hotel room somewhere else. When I tried to get reimbursed they told me because I didn't take a different room that they would not reimburse me. Expedia did nothing to help either. We paid $250 to sleep in a Hilton from 4am to 9am because we left this hotel at 3:00am. They also told me that they have a mechanic onsite who didn't see any cockroaches lol. I have a picture of it on their bed after it came off my hand. This was completely ridiculous! Their best offer was a discounted rate at the hotel. Why would I come back to a place with cockroaches? Disgusting!!

Front desk was awesome ! The stay was average. We checked in after midnight and around 4am the smoke alarm was going off and wouldn’t even go off when it was unplugged from the wall. Maintenance did come after a few minutes and just took the whole alarm with him.

Reasonable sized ground floor room with access from outside, other blocks are multi storey. Car parking close to room. Pleasant garden outside with one of two pools nearby. Room had everything that we needed. Breakfast in separate block across road, usual selection which is just what we want. Well staffed in breakfast room. Beach and pier a short walk away. Choice of bar / diner places for dinner within short walk.
