A lovely find
A really lovely stay. We were welcomed and shown our room. We explored the area, which is beautiful, and then ate in the hotel restaurant. Food was traditional German and very nice. Breakfast was good. We booked a second night whilst we were there. All staff that we saw spoke brilliant English.

One night stay- worth the trip!
Lovely little Gasthaus near Titensee. Very clean, quiet. Evening meal was typical German fayre, very well cooked, nice restaurant. Breakfast in a lovely sunny room with mountain views. Great value for money and the staff were lovely!

highly recommend for trip to Lake Titisee by car
Great location to visit Lake Titisee if you are travelling by car. Lake is only 10 minute drive away (even though there were significant road works on at the time). Staff were friendly and welcoming. Accommodation is comfy, spacious and clean. Food in the restaurant was of good value for quantity and the continental breakfast was more than adequate.

Small Gem in the Black Forrest
This traditional gasthaus did not disappoint. I selected it for is isolated location and proximity to "local" traditional Germany lifestyle. There are multiple hotel options in the vicinity and this small gasthaus is perfect for people who want to get out of the hotel during the day and return to a nice place to rest. It is not alone but deserves to be counted among the best. The restaurant was well run and the staff is very nice and accommodating. the view from the rooms is exceptional sub-alpine mountains with hiking, walking, biking and horse riding trains intersecting the property.

A Super Nice Experience!
You would love it if you are a nature lover. The hotel is located in the middle of the road, surrounded by lots and lots of trees, which provides a quiet and comfortable environment. And the staff are very kind and helpful! Would love to stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay...the staff was friendly, breakfast was european style, our dinner from the hotel restaraunt was pretty yummy. A quick bus ride (bus stops right outside) into town for a couple euro or a 2.5 mile drive/walk.

I'm afraid we did not get to spend the night at this hotel. We paid up front and tried calling many times to tell them we would arrive late but there was no answer. When we arrived the place was locked tight and the lights were off. I guess they were just satisfied with just taking our money, they never reached out to us.

Okay stay
Good service. The room we got was dated but OK for one night. The breakfast was OK but I think they could make it better by adding some healthier options like vegetables and freshly squeezed juice. Parking is right in front of the hotel, and they have pleanty of parking spots.

Das Haus brauch dringend Renovierung und Modernisierung dann kann es Hotel heißen. Man fühlt sich verängstigt und verloren. Ich war mit zwei Kinder für ein Nacht hier aber auf Wiedersehen werde es nicht geben.

Wenn der Check in nicht in einem anderen Hotel stattgefunden hätte und das Restaurant offen gewesen wäre (beides ohne Info bei der Buchung) wäre der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gewesen. Gutes Bett, gutes Frühstück.

Nur wenige km zum Titisee
Restaurant o.k.Zimmer einwandfrei und sauber.Leider hört man in der Nacht die Straße - aber wenig Verkehr. Fußläufig zum Titisee-Ortsangabe "Hinterzarten" täuscht etwas.
