Main square gem
The hotel was dead center in the main square. Perfect location overlooking the big Christmas tree. Plenty of food and shopping just steps away.

The hotel is a lovely little place off the main square and very clean with comfortable bed. Parking is offered via a third party company so you have to coordinate that in advance, which was easy enough. There is no coffee in the room and you have to pay to use a coffee machine in the small lobby which felt wrong to me. The hotel is too small to offer breakfast, but we found a wonderful bakery a five minute walk away from the center and I felt it would have been nice for our hosts to suggest that place instead of offering no valuable guidance. The guidance we were given was to shop at tourist shops owned by the hosts’ friends/relations. Finally, we left one day early and notified the hotel two days prior. However, they refused to offer us our payment back, which felt stingy and wrong. I would not return. Despite its location, there are many lovely hotels in Sorrento I would chose for a return trip.

I loved our stay at La Casa Del Orologio! Everything was perfect. The room was large by European standards and everything was very clean and comfortable. Every shopping and dining experience conceivable is right out the front door. Huge plus that there is an elevator! Right on the Piazza Tasso!

Newly renovated, has usb ports, walk in shower with non slip floor, we had a fridge and the widows opened for fresh air. Right off the main square but quite and has a lift. Julia, the manager, was very helpful.

This hotel had a cute, old time vibe but with modern conveniences. I loved that is was super close to everything and had a restaurant right out front that played live music we listened to from our balcony. If you want peace and quiet you might not want to stay in a front room. The band played til midnight. But we loved it and loved having our doors open to the sounds of the town square. The girl that checked us in was super nice and the whole process was easy. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to Sorrento.

We were late arrivals so had to do the late arrival process. Our transport could not drive into the square so it became very difficult to locate the door during the busy night on the Main Square. So very specific directions would have been very helpful. Otherwise a great stay.
