This huge, one of a kind, masterpiece is the top floor end unit in Snowmass' best hotel, with airy vaulted ceilings, enormous windows and decks offering panoramic views of the mountains, gondola, and bustling Village Plaza. Here, the privacy of a luxury estate meets the convenience of a high end hotel. This residence is the end/corner penthouse with a large window wall and vaulted ceilings in the kitchen and great room. Tons of natural light floods into this exquisitely designed and furnished space. Looking out the floor to ceiling windows, you'll see the Village Plaza and the Elk Camp gondola whirring away below you. Above is a panoramic view of Colorado's rugged mountains and crystal blue skies.
Step into the kitchen and you're surrounded by expansive countertops and Gaggenau appliances—the finest in contemporary European styling. In the morning, effortlessly make delicious coffee or espresso drinks with our Nespresso Vertuo. In the evening, grab a bottle from our cellar of fine wines (first one is on us!)
If you like to entertain, the great room offers plenty of options: four barstools, a dining table for eight, ample seating around the TV/fireplace, a cabinet stocked with fun games, two expansive decks and an outdoor grill. All perfect for family gatherings!
Step into the master suite and you are surrounded by luxury. A spacious walk-in closet has plenty of room for your belongings. A comfortable king bed faces double doors offering deck access and views up the gondola and mountain. Next to the double doors is a cozy gas fireplace surrounded by marble with a Samsung Smart TV above it. Step into the master bath where you are greeted by floor to ceiling marble, a grand soaking tub, steam shower, double vanity and plenty of natural light from the mountain-facing windows.
The second and third bedrooms are at the end of the hallway, opposite the residence from the master suite. This allows parents to enjoy some privacy while the kids are asleep. The hallway features a large map of the mountain, and a laundry room with brand new whirlpool appliances.
The second master features another king bed, another Samsung Smart TV, lofty vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows on two walls offering sweeping 270 degree views of the mountains, gondola and Village Plaza. This bedroom also contains an ensuite bath with more floor to ceiling marble, a grand shower, double vanity and one massive window so you can stare at the awesome Mt. Daly as you soak in the oversized tub.
The third bedroom features another king bed, a comfortable seating area and a huge window overlooking the skating rink and the Snowmass “rim” (a beautiful ridge-line that offers incredible hiking and mountain biking in the summertime.) The third bathroom is right next to the third bedroom, but it is detached and thus perfect for when you are entertaining guests. This bathroom contains beautiful floor to ceiling stone, a single vanity and a shower/tub combo.
If you’d like to sleep eight people in this residence, there are two high end rollaway beds in the entry closet which can be set up and taken down wherever and whenever you’d like.
If you'd like even more space, we have an additional unit down the hall available for an additional fee, which offers two more queen beds, an ensuite bathroom and a kitchenette. Please message me for more details.
Your Neighborhood:
This residence sits in the heart of Snowmass Base Village. According to Forbes magazine, SBV is "a $600 million family-oriented mountain resort development, the largest one in North America.” Snowmass has always been known for its world-class 3000+ acres of incredible ski terrain in the Winter, and one of North America’s best lift-accessed bike parks in the Summer.
However, SBV augments these incredible offerings with fun for the entire family. This includes retail shopping, fine dining, hip bars, an ice skating rink, bean bag toss, live music and much more. Spaces like the “collective” and the “treehouse” offer games and entertainment for the kids so that adults can get some time to themselves — perhaps a heated class at King Yoga, or a sushi dinner at Saké. If you get bored here, then you are boring. Welcome to alpine paradise!
Getting Around:
Just an elevator ride from your residence (go down to P3 and exit the garage) Snowmass Base Village’s Transit Center makes transportation a breeze.
To get anywhere in Snowmass completely for free, take the “Village Shuttle.”
To get to and from Aspen, the airport, or down valley (Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood Springs) take the RFTA (Roaring Fork Transit Authority) buses.
Both the Village Shuttle and the RFTA buses are accessible from the Transit Center. For detailed routes, schedules and info, simply plug your destination into Google Maps and hit the ’Transit’ icon. Google Maps will automatically show you what bus to get on, what time it leaves, when to get off, etc. It can even remind you to leave on time! No need for a rental car out here.
Additionally, a free gondola called “sky cab” or “skittles” (local slang) will take you up to the older Village Mall, which expands your shopping/dining options beyond the offerings in Base Village.
