I wanted to leave an honest review, especially since this location only had one prior review. When we arrived, my husband noticed blood spots on the floor in the bathroom. As we looked around, there were blood spots in other rooms as well. The inside temperature was really warm when we arrived. It was 76 degrees inside. The thermostat was locked and we couldn't change it. I reached out to maintenance, and he did come clean the floor. The air conditioning continued to have issues for our entire stay. The main gathering area was very hot but the rest of the house would get really cold. Unless I missed this in the house description, I was unaware that one of the bedrooms was only accessible through the garage. The only bathroom available for guests staying in that room is inside the house. There was a lot of dust on lamps, etc., like the place hadn't had a deep clean in a long time. My daughters stayed in the upstairs loft. One evening the area up there was swarming with gnats and other flying bugs. To the point the girls were crying. They are not little kids, they are teenagers. I realize this property is in the woods but there shouldn't be that many flying bugs inside. The house itself is pretty. I think it could be an amazing property with much better upkeep. I wouldn't choose this property again due to the cost being high and the uncleanliness and air conditioning issues.
