The dominant industry in Slite is lime and cement production, which has influenced the area for many hundreds of years. It is very exciting to discover the open-cast mine with its huge machines. No visit to Gotland is complete without seeing at least one area with Raukar rocks. One of these areas is on the small island of Asunden, which is connected to Gotland by a small bridge. Go on a discovery tour and experience UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Visby or try an alpaca safari at "Gotlands Alpacka"!
