Pool temp could make or break your experience
The kids LOVED the waterpark, the only problem was that the first night we were there, the water was freezing in the kids area and in the waterslide pool. It was so cold the kids’ teeth were chattering, and they couldn’t even play in the pirate ship, but of course that didn’t stop them from going down the slide! We asked if someone could turn up the heat a bit, which they said they did, but we couldn’t tell a difference before the pool closed. The next morning we went swimming again and it was still freezing. I asked another maintenance employee if they could check on that heat, and they were very friendly! And I’m happy to report the water temperature did rise eventually, and it felt great in there!! Too bad we had to check out though! On the plus side, we could check out at noon, which was an awesome bonus! Also just a minor note, I will say this is the first hotel I’ve ever been to that charges for coffee in their lobby in the morning. Even the smallest motels usually have a pot of coffee even if they don’t provide breakfast. Finally, the rooms were neat and clean and it looked like they’ve upgraded their carpets. I definitely noticed an improvement in the quality of their rooms. Overall, most of the staff was super friendly and helpful, the pool was great, the rooms were clean, and I will definitely be going back with the family again sometime!

The water park was fun but the water in the children’s section was ice cold. The bar by the pool was out of service. The building and rooms are in desperate need of up keep. The food in the restaurant was very good. The servers were very helpful. The bar tender was extremely difficult to deal with!!!

The lady that checked us in was AMAZING!! She was above and beyond helpful and empathetic to other customers that needed empathy in their situations. I was beyond impressed. Hotel was mostly clean, the pool area was monitored by staff, and things of that nature. The children's pool was FREEEZING and has been for years now. I think if they are not going to fix this, they need to make it known. We like shallow water for our younger three and the reality is, there is no way a kid could stay in the FREEEEEZZING water. Kind of defeats the purpose. We feel this Ramada could be GREAT. They choose not to update the facility which is so sad. We paid nearly 300 dollars for a room that was small, nothing special and the pools for the kids were freezing.. too bad really.

The staff was super nice and the bed was great it was clean and they had dove products only comlaint was a slamming door but it comes with the water park territory which was awesome.
