Great big hotel with all facilities, activities for family, shopping. Very big room with fantastic view. Various options of breakast with excellentquality, huge restaurant than you can imagine. The onsen is very big, there are indoor and outdoor onsen. A bit walk distance to futami bridge or about 3 bus stop. We enjoy staying here.
This is one of my worse hotel experience. Not to mention a "supposedly" family recommended hotel. We came due to the waterpark. However the waterpark was poorly maintained, very run down and to the water was not onsen warm water but cold water. We were greeted by non English speaking guest relation officer. Despite we booked a japanese western style room that can accomodate up to 5 guest. They insisted in charging addition charges for our 2 children! And the additional charge was an addition JPY 16000 ( Sgd 160) for 1 night. It was already late and after hovering with a non english speaking guest relation officer that is inflexible. It was already late hence we blame it on bad luck and paid for it. But for others who plan to have a great time with your family. We will not recommend this hotel. The rooms have a bad musky smell. In total we spent near to sgd400 1 night stay.
The property is old and in need of renovation in some areas. Large tourist groups use the property which makes the dining areas and spas extremely crowded.
Hotel was great. Onsen was wonderful, food was good and service and staff were nice. I would be happy to stay here again.

Disliked: Room comfort
Great food and location, but that’s it
Probably not a great choice for English only speakers. I came to visit the area which was awesome, but the hotel is out dated and the room was not comfortable. This is an all inclusive hotel and the food was very good.
It is very convenient and comfortable place. Having swimming pool and hot spring provided. Buffet for breakfast and dinner, so time is elastic. Easy to catch the hot pics.

Nice but it's tour group central.
Nice hotel but very busy with tour groups. Bathing areas were very nice. Good place to base for exploring the local area or if you are transiting through and don't want to stay in Sapporo.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Clean and comfortable
For a mass-market hotel, this is good value for money for a clean and comfortable hotel. We were unfortunately given a smoking room when the booking was for a non-smoking. However, the reception tried to charge us additional for a non-smoking room but we immediately voiced our objection and they changed the room for us immediately. By then, quite a bit of time was wasted in moving rooms.
Hot spring pools are huge. Outdoor pool has great River view.
Restaurant for breakfast and dinner is huge and crowd, so it is a bit noisy. However, the foods were good. There are plenty of choices.
The water lagoon and the onsen were very good and kids friendly. But the room is a bit too old. Generally speaking, it was still not bad if you want to stay in jozankei area.
