Everything was really nice it was quiet and relaxing everything on hand, a lovely little garden to chill in, breakfast was very nice, Chris and Allison made as feel welcome
A period farm house with antique charm, we stepped back in time! Comfortable and quiet!
Delicious breakfast served in a period dining room.
Delightful setting in a tiny village near a small country Pub serving tasty food.
A wonderfuly kind host and hostess for whom nothing was too much trouble. Convenient to have a pub across the road serving better than average pub grub. Highlight was the Gold Star breakfasts !
A lovely peaceful stay. A great welcome. The breakfast choice is excellent. Cooked fresh, excellent assortment of fresh fruits, homemade granola and condiments. Comfortable room. A great location to visit local area and explore.
What a most charming, characteristic, beautiful home. With the most friendly and helpful hosts.
You will 100% not regret staying with Chris and Alison at Church Farm.
We had a very comfortable stay at this lovely accommodation prior to visiting the David Austin Rose Gardens in Albrighton. The hosts were very friendly. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and appreciated the great care taken to ensure gluten free dietary requirements and Covid related safety. We would book to stay again if back in the area.
Short stay but nevertheless, very comfortable and welcoming. Room was cosy and well presented. Breakfast was excellent. Overall stay was to a high standard, would readily easily rebook in the future.
Highly recommended. The hosts are excellent - efficient, personable and attentive without being overbearing. The accommodation is in a lovely part of the world, with open countryside surrounding it, and the garden is beautifully manicured. The bedroom I occupied (I think there are several) was very comfortable - large, well-appointed and spotless, with a comfortable bed, nice pillows and good quality bed linen. The bathroom was a revelation, with lots of thoughtful touches for those who may have forgotten a washbag item or two, along with top-end pump-action soaps and shower gel/shampoo. Breakfast was delicious, the highlight being perhaps the best poached egg that has ever passed my lips (ok, I've led a sheltered life!). Locally-sourced bacon and sausage was tasty too. I would most certainly return to this property when I'm next back in the vicinity.
Pleasant and helpful hosts. Great breakfasts including home grown fruit. Quiet and peaceful location but also near towns, National Trust and English Heritage properties and the Iron Bridge Gorge Museums and the Black Country Living Museum.
Enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this 17th century farmhouse b&b, which is situated in a sleepy village just a short drive from Telford. Ideally situated for Blists Hill victorian town, Iron Bridge museums etc. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and serve a delicious breakfast. There is also a pub across the road serving lunch and evening meals, and the church next door really adds to the countryside feel of this lovely area.
A warm welcome and relaxed environment. Will happily stay here again (next year for the same work conference.) My room was perfect, bed and pillows extremely comfortable (!), and I felt very at home. Excellent breakfast, locally sourced, and/or organic, good choices. Highly recommended all round.
Church Farm is a privately run family business, so it's very unique, well-loved and there are a lot of personal touches. During the daylight hours, the surrounding scenery is beautiful, peaceful and quiet, but only a few minutes drive from the more central locations.
My friend and I stayed here in February before a conference at the Telford International Centre. We had the best night's sleep despite the wind and rain, because the beds were so comfy! The rooms were spacious and well kept and clean. The owners really looked after us and breakfast the next morning was perfect. I'd highly recommend! Plus, there is a pub just over the road that sells lovely food and well priced gin! I'd definitely stay again.
