A touch of luxury
Great location in quiet countryside, I had a sea view, hotel felt luxurious, food was good, breakfast very good, staff helpfull and polite, would recommend this hotel to single travellers or couples.

Not good enough
Laundry had failed to obliterate bottom sheet stains on the first night. After complaint sheet was replaced with a single just covering top of mattress . It rumpled and caused discomfort but was not replaced for third night. The only compensation offered was two free breakfast costing £30 final morning. The room was advertised as de luxe and cost £230 a night.

We were looking for a quiet, comfortable spot for a few days to unwind. The Dales fit the bill perfectly. The location is such that whilst the hotel is in the heart of the countryside, it is also close to many Norfolk attractions and holiday spots. The staff were professional, attentive and personable. For us, there was everything to like about this hotel.

Country hotel with charm and comfort.
Quiet location in beautiful countryside with far reaching views. Friendly welcoming reception upon arrival and were given a very nice well appointed room that met our needs. First class restaurant with choice of house specials and A la Cart all perfectly cooked and presented. Hotel perfectly located for access to local attractions. Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay.

Great location
This hotel could be absolutely lovely. It's in a great location, with beautiful gardens, easy access to Sheringham Country Park/the coastal paths and welcoming staff. Unfortunately, the very uncomfortable bed and dated room/en-suite, along with the dead flowers left on the dining tables all weekend, really let it down. Otherwise, I would very happily return.
