Conveniently close to motorway as a place to stop over and break a long drive. However, wi-fi was erratic - sometimes normal speed, sometimes really slow. Dinner service also quite slow - half hour wait from ordering to meal arriving. Not sure why as it wasn’t particularly busy.

We enjoyed our stay at the mecure hotel sheffield. All the staff were helpful The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was delightful The bed was very comfy The bar area was clean Food was ok Down side; We paid for a privilege room, however we had no extras in the bathroom Only 1 dressing gown no slippers We asked at the reception and were told they have run out!!! Also the fridge only had 1 bottle of water.. So we could have saved money and had a basic room. Disappointed

Nice looking modern hotel. Rooms had large beds and very clean. Breakfast is really good. Plenty of free parking in the car park. Highly recommend.

Reasonable.
Staff service mixed. Check in was excellent. She was helpful and attentive. Breakfast staff not the most approachable. I ate dinner which was purchased at bar. Staff here pleasant. Reasonably tasty chicken escallope with salad and chips plus pear pudding with custard. Latter was slightly overcooked. fair value for money. Room was clean and nice bathroom. Loved the seat in the shower. A few plug sockets but none by side of bed. Comfortable nights sleep with air con. There was a wedding party here this night and I was surprised the room was quieter than it was ( 2nd floor ) could hear the music very slightly but it wasn’t a distraction. I would revisit. Downside I’m waiting for a parking ticket as I stopped on the road outside the hotel after seeing car park fees for the hotel. I didn’t want to drive in before 3pm. With hindsight it would not have been an issue !!

Comfy beds and a great bathroom
Everything was great. Larger room for the UK and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom was a good size and as a larger person travelling with a tall person we both appreciated that.
