Welcome to The Hayloft, an ideal location for those who love the outdoors be walkers, cyclist, and birdwatchers all of whom will enjoy the many treks and trails and wonders of The Pennines straight from the doorstep.
You will feel truly part of the farm when entering the apartment between the stables and then climb the stairs to discover a stylish retreat. Discover two well-appointed bedrooms with feature beds where you can enjoy a great night’s sleep. Along the hallway you will discover an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with all the mod cons. There you will also find a comfy sofa to snuggle up on and discuss the day’s events! The owners also have a pop-up food truck which serves their own burgers along with drinks, so what could be better? Oh yes, the farm shop where you can purchase Wagyu.
Did we mention the location? Nearby you will discover a wealth of National Trust properties, easily accessible including Nostell Priory and Parkland, Hardcastle Crags, East Riddlesden Hall and Lyme Park to name but a few. Wortley village itself is home to a country pub and restaurant, village store, farm shop and tearoom.
In addition, Wortley Hall Golf Club is also nearby for any golf lovers. The market town of Penistone can be reached in just 10 minutes and is renowned for its farmers market which attracts visitors all year round or Holmfirth home to its very own vineyard in around 20 minutes. Chatsworth House is also an easy day trip, and the National Coal Mining Museum, Kelham Island and Wortley Top Forge are also well worthwhile.
