Family Cabin in the Forest
We loved staying at this large three bedroom cabin. It was well organized with comfortable furniture and beds with fine family-made quilts on them. It felt like a house that the owner’s family once lived in and still enjoys. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the items one would need to cook just about anything. The heating system worked very well! We also made a real wood fire one evening. Since we were there after the season, the fishing was not so productive but my husband and our boys enjoyed casting their poles into Shaver Lake. One rainbow trout was caught which we shared for part of our dinner. We would stay here if we come to this area again.

Everyone happy!
Excellent,comfortable home that had all that we needed. Loved the fireplace . Easy to town and lake. Host information was helpful. Comfortable beds. Little ones enchanted by “Bearatone” tree carving! We will be back!

Magic in the Mountains
Absolutely loved the homey feel of the cabin. Great front room with a fire and plenty of space to relax. Amazing view of the trees outside and plenty of space to have our dog run around, with the cutest little pond nearby. Also loved how close the cabin was to town, shaver lake, and some AMAZING hikes. Big Big Fan!

Get away for Fraternity brothers
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was just as advertised as well as being clean and well stocked with utensil, plates etc. It is a perfect location to enjoy the mountains and forest as well as easy to get to the lake. We will stay there again.
